Inmarsat recently announced that the Inmarsat B service will be terminated on December 31, 2014. This very successful system was launched in 1994 and it was the digital successor of Inmarsat A.  
 
B to FB migration path  
B users can take advantage of special “Inm B to FB” migration paths that are available from Navarino. These programs are valid for limited number of terminals so don’t lose the opportunity to learn about the details from your Navarino Account Manager.  
 
Other systems to be retired  
Inmarsat also announced two other systems to be retired:  
GAN Land- September 30, 2014  
M Land - December 31, 2014  
 
Also, Large Antenna mini-M and mini-M Land are expected to be retired on December 31, 2012.  
This date will be confirmed at the Inmarsat partner conference in Monaco in June.
