Navarino is excited to announce that all Stratos FleetBroadband customers will benefit from a new global IP address solution called ''Public IP Access''.  
What is Public IP Access?  
With this service, all FB customers can be assigned a single real internet IP address (no NATted) for global deployment of FB service. It will no longer be necessary for customers to have separate IP addresses for EMEA, Americas and AsiaPac regions or to use a NATted static IP.  
The Stratos global network, including our 3 Points of Presence (PoPs) in New York, Amsterdam and Hong Kong will take care of all necessary traffic routing in the background.  
Stratos is also renaming “Regular Access” VAS to 'Private IP Access”. In summary, Stratos will have two IP Access solutions going forward:  
Private IP Access: private dynamic IP address.  
Public IP Access: public dynamic or static IP address.  
Benefits of Public Static IP Access  
Global - The User Terminal always has the same IP address regardless of its location in the world.  
Fits Most Applications - There is no address translation on this address making it an ideal fit for most applications.  
Ease of Use - By making it the default user profile in Stratos Dashboard, the end user does not have to fill in any usernames/passwords on the terminal, in the web interface or in Launchpad anymore, thus enhancing ease-of-use.  
Issue Resolution - Troubleshooting is simplified for the Service Provider since there is only one IP address to deal with.  
Cost Effective - The monthly fee for the Public IP User Access Profile will be less than or equal to the current Transparent Access fee.
