In February 2009, Navarino organized a week of FleetBroadband Workshops at its premises in Piraeus, with Stratos and Inmarsat in attendance.  
More than 50 companies participated and showed great interest in the new service.  
The participants had the chance to see FBB in action and learn about the Value Added Services which Navarino offers its customers, including guidance on how to connect FBB to onshore company networks, protect vessel computers from viruses, and the best way to use FBB for web browsing for crew members whilst ensuring they can surf the net at minimum cost. The video streaming capability was also presented, showing how crews on board a vessel can transmit live video to the office from the engine room or anywhere on the ship with a headset camera. During the Workshops Navarino provided special offers for airtime and terminals.
