This service is aimed to provide cost-effective communications for crew calling while minimizing the complicated accounting and administration procedures related to cost allocation of call charges.

Crew Calling Cards (scratch cards) supplied by Navarino work on all Inmarsat services, including Inmarsat A, B, mini-M and Fleet. They are available in various denominations (such as 50, 250, 300 and 750 units) and their main characteristics are:

• No per-call connect or start-up fee, no charge for holding time and no charge at all if the    call is not answered.
• Only connection time is charged.
• The expiry date is 12 months after the first call is placed.

Furthermore, all rates are global and particularly reduced during "crew hours" that apply for 12 hours per weekday plus all day during the weekends. Navarino's policy is to dispatch crew calling cards within 24 hours upon order's confirmation.

There are four types of calling cards, one with 50, one with 250, one with 300 and one with 750 units credit. All calls are priced with units that are subtracted during the call:

• 10 units are deducted every minute during crew hours (108/168 hours per week).
  (Monday to Friday: 18.00- 06.00 UTC / SATURDAY & SUNDAY: 24hours/day)

• 16 units are deducted every minute during office hours (60/168 hours per week).
  (Monday to Friday: 06.01-17.59 UTC).

Finally, at each call, an operator informs the user free of charge, about the units remaining.
